A LITTLE ABOUT MY WHY AND THINGS I BELIEVE IN
If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.
We all go through sh*t. It’s a part of the human experience. I don’t believe we should go through it alone. In my work, I focus on breaking down stigmas and shame around certain life experiences.
I’ve always been fascinated with the people that have come before me. I love understanding what makes people tick, how their history shapes their path forward, and the inter-connectedness of humanity.
We’re really not that different from each other.

I’m committed to self-improvement
I started my self-development and mental health journey at a very young age. Although I don’t have a formal psychology credential, I’ve been committed to the process for over 15 years. I recognize I can always be a better version of myself, and that’s the kind of approach I take open and honestly when creating any content or participating in speaking engagements.
It’s easy to preach to an audience, but it’s hard taking our own advice sometimes. I try to walk-the-walk as best as possible.

There’s nothing like feeling like you found your tribe
It’s trial and error for many of us as we get older as we try to find our chosen family. People grow together and they grow apart. It’s life. I really cherish my chosen family.
Both in my professional and personal life, I’ve struggled with finding those who really understand me. With what I put out into the world, I hope I can help other young women be brave enough to put themselves out there and continue to believe in the best of people until they find theirs.

I’ve learned we need to be fearless in the pursuit of the dream life we want
The fear of being seen is something I deal with a lot. I also love my privacy. But I do know that to continue to do what I love – whether it’s writing or podcasting – I need to put myself out there.
Fear has such a funny way of creeping into our lives, but I am determined to break it down. What continues to drive me is the fact that real, positive impact lies on the other side. My dream life awaits. I’m sure yours does, too.

Always try to lead with love and compassion (although it’s hard as sh*t sometimes)
It’s a harsh f*cking world out there.
We need to treat each other with kindness. Don’t be afraid to lead with love. Smile at the stranger. Thank your McDonald’s drive-thru clerk. Be extra nice to waitstaff. Don’t flip the bird when driving – hit them with a thumbs down if you need to (@ me).
Put a touch of your own magic into every interaction you have.

Behind the Curtain with podcast is now live for free
After writing and publishing my book, Recalibration, in 2021, I took a creative hiatus to focus on building my career in big tech. I finally felt it was the right time to dip my toe into the podcasting world in early 2024.
Although there is no shortage of podcasts in the world, I believe everyone has their own special sauce. Join me on my pursuit of curated storytrelling to hear stories about my life, interviews with other creatives, entrepreneurs, psychics, friends and more.
